The Clean Agenda currently services the entire DMV Metropolitan area (Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia) including Baltimore, Annapolis, Harpers Ferry, Woodbridge, and Southern Maryland. This past summer, we managed 317 STR property cleanings in the DMV area.

Our cloud-based web and mobile app allows us to manage everything from on-the-way push notifications to before and after photos of your service. In fact, our client dashboard allows you to see the real-time status of your service from when our team is on-the-way, when they arrive, and when we have completed your service.

Upon arrival, the cleaners will do a walk-through of the property to make sure nothing is damaged or broken. If there’s an issue, we will send a text message to the homeowner. In the case of an urgent matter like a leaking pipe or stopped-up toilet, the cleaners will attempt to resolve the issue and call the homeowner right away.

Yes, we handle guest communication for a large number of our properties 24 hours a day. This includes calls for food or event recommendations, responses to emergent issues that arise at the property, and early check-in, or late check-out requests.

We recommend using duvet covers instead of comforters, as the average queen or king comforter takes 90 minutes to wash and dry. Be cautious about cleaning providers stating they can turn your property in under 2 hours, with comforters,  as it wouldn’t be feasible for them to wash them after every visit. We also suggest having a list of supplies and mandatory items for your property.

Some systems allow for a more seamless system. Once you receive a booking, we should receive the same information (guest’s name, phone number, and email address) in case we need to handle guest communication for you. In short, once you receive it, send it to us as well.

We don’t accept all potential clients, and our main reason is to maintain a high level of service. Most clients who switch to us complain about their cleaners quitting, and we try to avoid these issues by thoroughly vetting potential clients.

Yes, we can provide cleaning services on short notice, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. If you allow same-day turnovers we do recommend that you have a check-out of 10 am and check-in of 4 pm. Guest will request other times if needed.

We use a detailed cleaning checklist to ensure that every aspect of your property is clean and sanitized. We also keep detailed notes on your home and will contact you directly whenever we identify something that appears to be obscure.

If something is damaged or broken during a cleaning, we will take full responsibility and will do our best to fix or replace the item as quickly as possible.

Absolutely! We are committed to using the safest, least harsh chemicals to effectively clean and sanitize every home. We can use eco-friendly products if requested.

Yes, we provide laundry service. We can provide a supply list for bedding, towels, and other recommendations for your STR property. To ensure that our guests have everything they need, we ask that you provide three sets of linen, duvets, and enough towels to accommodate the full occupancy level of your guests.

Yes, we offer additional services for short-term rentals like guest communication and can stock and replenish supplies.

Our hours of service for short-term rental cleaning are from 9 am to 2 pm and in some occurrences, we can schedule after 2 pm to accommodate priority needs.
